Meet Wesley!

First day home - 3 days old

Well, here is our pride and joy. After being married for nearly 6 and a half years, James and I now have the absolute joy of being parents to Wesley, who was born (8lb 1oz) in March '07.

Listening to his first podcast - 8 weeks old

Wesley is now exactly 12 weeks old and is growing heaps and continually gives us smiles and does his best to 'talk'! He sleeps really well and doesn't wake us at night until about 7am for his feed. Way to go kiddo! So for all those people who told us to 'look forward' to having no sleep for many years because we were having a baby can eat their words! Yes, there were many sleepless nights for the first four weeks or so, but steadily Wesley has backed off those night feeds and now doesn't need them. Well, I guess everyone has a different experience. So, my evaluation of parenthood thus far: exhausting during the first few weeks but incredibly rewarding and fun as the weeks tick by and baby becomes more interactive and sleeps more at night :)
